You are viewing a press release published under the name MormonLeaks before we began publishing investigative pieces under the name Truth & Transparency.

In 1828, Martin Harris was serving as Joseph Smith’s scribe during the transcription process of the Book of Mormon. By June of that year, a total of 116 pages had been written when Harris asked Smith’s permission to show the transcript to his wife to try to prove their authenticity. They were subsequently lost and never reproduced. Today, MormonLeaks makes them available publicly for the first time ever.
